Ensure all cylinders are in the retracted position

Remove the hydraulic tank dipstick by unscrewing the filler cap

Wipe the dipstick clean with a clean, lint-free cloth

Re-insert the dipstick in the dipstick tube

Remove the dipstick again to check the fluid level

Is the fluid level between the bottom of the dipstick and the full line?

Place a floor jack under the chain case near the tire to be changed

Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel before raising the jack

Use the jack to raise the tire until it just clears the floor

Remove the lug nuts and the wheel

Place the new tire and wheel assembly onto the wheel studs

Is the new tire slightly larger than the old one?

Raise the jack slightly to suit the new tire, if necessary

Caution: Ensure Engine is Off and Cool

Ensure the engine is turned off and cool before starting the procedure.

Refer to Fig. 8B for visual guidance.

Turn the shut-off valve handle to the horizontal position.

Depress the throttle pedal all the way and hold for five seconds.

Place a drip pan under the filters to catch any spilling fuel.

Check all parts of the mounting kit for wear and damage

Is the Donkey off of the transport vehicle?

Inspect the structural components of the transport vehicle around the mounting kit for cracks or corrosion

Are all welds on and around the mounting kit free of cracks, wear, and corrosion?

Ensure all mounting bolts are present, tight, and in good condition

Inspect the mounting pockets and fork supports for wear
