Place a floor jack under the chain case near the tire to be changed

Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel before raising the jack

Use the jack to raise the tire until it just clears the floor

Remove the lug nuts and the wheel

Place the new tire and wheel assembly onto the wheel studs

Is the new tire slightly larger than the old one?

Raise the jack slightly to suit the new tire, if necessary

Torque roll bar & overhead guard bolts

Inspect for worn or damaged hardware, including anchor points

Verify buckle or retractor functionality

Is the seat belt suitable for use?

Remove forklift from service if seat belt is unsuitable

Caution: Ensure Engine is Off and Cool

Verify the engine is turned off and cool before starting the procedure.

Turn the shut-off valve handle to the horizontal position.

Depress the throttle pedal all the way and hold for five seconds.

Place a drip pan under the filters to catch any spilled fuel.
