Catch the draining water in a suitable container
Dispose of the water properly

DEF Filler Screen Cleaning
Ensure the engine is stopped before servicing or repair

Clean the area around the DEF tank cap
Remove the DEF tank cap (1)
Filter Screen Removal
Press the tabs (2) to release them using a suitable tool
Remove the filter screen (3) from the DEF tank neck adapter (4)
