Repeat all daily pre-start checks

Check all control system safety devices by electrically simulating faults

Tighten all exhaust connections

Tighten all electrical connections

Engine Start and Instrument Panel Observation

Observe the instrument panel to ensure that all gauges and meters are operating properly

Consult your local dealer for maintenance guidelines specific to your engine

Perform a visual walk-around inspection of the generator set

Check for loose fastenings, worn belts, or loose connections

Ensure fan and exhaust guards are correctly positioned and securely fixed

Wipe clean all filler caps before servicing or topping up fluids

Is there any type of leak (coolant, lubricating oil, or fuel)?

Describe the leak and corrective actions taken

Remove accumulated grease and oil from the engine

Select the method used to drain the fuel tank

Drain the water and sediment from the fuel tank

Drain the outer bund area by hand pump through the rear access socket

Dispose of any removed fluid properly

Perform a visual walk-around inspection before starting the generator set

Check for loose fastenings, worn belts, or loose connections

Ensure fan and exhaust guards are correctly positioned and securely fixed

Wipe clean all filler caps before servicing the engine or topping up fluids

Is there any type of leak (coolant, lubricating oil, or fuel)?

Describe the source and corrective action for any observed leaks

Remove accumulated grease and/or oil on the engine by steam cleaning or high-pressure water jet

Ensure the generator set is stopped and there are no active or present shutdown conditions

Verify fuel lines are full of fuel

Priming Procedure with Base Tank

Operate the priming switch for the standard pre-set 2 minute priming cycle

Did the engine start within 3 crank cycles?

Repeat the prime procedure if the engine did not start within 3 crank cycles
