Pull outward the clip of each of the two spacers used to secure the card PCB, then release each latch

Check that the clip of each of the two spacers is latched outward, then insert the card into the connector

Push the clip of each spacer downward to secure the card PCB

Move the clip of the socket outward

Extract the module by raising it at a 30 degree slant and pulling outward

Check the cable connected to the teach pendant for excessive twisting

Check the controller and peripheral devices for abnormalities

Return the robot to the specified position

Check the system parts for any damage or cracks

If the ventilation port of the controller is dusty, clean it

If the fan has dirt and dust built up, clean the fan according to step (d) described below for inspection to be performed every 6 months.

Periodic inspection performed every six months

Sign off on the monthly maintenance

Detach the cables from the robot control board and boards on the backplane board

Remove the robot control board and boards from the rack

Detach the grounding cable from the backplane unit

Loosen the retaining screws in the upper section of the rack. Remove the retaining screws from the lower section of the rack

To replace the backplane and rack, reverse steps (1) ± (6)

Sign off on the backplane board replacement

Detach the cable from the transformer

Remove the two nuts (M5) securing the transformer

Sign off on the transformer replacement
