3840 Hourly / 1 Yearly Cooling Fan Check
Cooling Fan Check
Check the operation of the cooling fan (When cooling fans are installed on the each axis motor)
Check whether the cooling fans are operating correctly
If the cooling fans do not operate, replace them
Sign off on the cooling fan check
Initial 960 Hours / 3 Months Mechanical Unit Cables Check
- Check for damage to the mechanical unit cable (movable part)
- Observe the movable part of the mechanical unit cable, and check for damage. Also, check whether the cables are excessively bent or unevenly twisted
1. Check the mechanical unit cable protective sleeves for holes or tears
2. If damage is found, replace the cable protective sleeve
3. If the cable protective sleeve is damaged due to interference with peripheral devices, eliminate the cause
Check points of the mechanical unit cables:
Movable parts of J1, the upper side and lower side of link for wrist posture maintenance of rear side of J2 arm, movable part in uniting part of J2 to J3 and J3 to J4 and fixed department cable who interferes easily in peripherals
Check items:

Initial 960 Hours / 3 Months Effector Bolts Maintenance
CAUTION! Notice the tooling coupling depth to wrist flange should be shorter than the flange coupling length
End effector mounting bolts retightened
Upload figures for installing end effectors on the wrist
Select screws and positioning pins of a length that matches the depth of the tapped holes and pin holes
Enter the tightening torque specifications from Appendix B
Sign off on the effector bolts maintenance
3840 Hourly / 1 Yearly Mechanical Unit Cables Check
- Check for damage to the mechanical unit cable (movable part)
- Observe the movable part of the mechanical unit cable, and check for damage. Also, check whether the cables are excessively bent or unevenly twisted
1. Check the mechanical unit cable protective sleeves for holes or tears
2. If damage is found, replace the cable protective sleeve
3. If the cable protective sleeve is damaged due to interference with peripheral devices, eliminate the cause

1 Daily Robot Check
Check whether vibration or abnormal noises occur
When vibration or abnormal noises occur, perform measures from troubleshooting (symptom: Vibration, Noise)
Check that the taught positions of the robot have not deviated from the previously taught positions
If displacement occurs, perform the measures as described in the troubleshooting (Symptom: Displacement)
Check whether the peripheral equipment operate properly according to commands from the robot and the peripheral equipment
Check brakes for each axis that the end effector drops 1.2 mm or less when the servo power is turned off
If the end effector (hand) drops more than the prescribed amount, perform the measures as described in the troubleshooting (symptom: Dropping axis)
Check whether unexpected warnings occur in the alarm screen on the teach pendant
If unexpected warnings occur, perform the measures as described in the following manual: ⇒”OPERATOR’S MANUAL (Alarm Code List)(B-83284EN-1)”
