Ensure all power supplies are turned off for at least 10 minutes before starting disassembly.

Remove the screw of the stop valve cover.

Slide the stop valve cover downward and remove it.

Remove the screw of the shield plate.

Lift up the shield plate and unfasten the 2 hooks to remove it.

Disconnect connectors from the terminal board

Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly.

Ensure no contact with heated pipes and parts from the gas brazing machine.

Is the room ventilated in case of refrigerant gas leakage?

Prepare wet cloth to extinguish fire immediately if refrigerant oil catches fire.

Environmental and Safety Cautions

Collect all refrigerant gas to prevent atmospheric discharge.

Restore piping using non-oxidation brazing.

Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Thermistor and Suction Grille Removal

Remove the outdoor temperature thermistor from the suction grille or protection net.

Remove the 3 screws and then the suction grille.

Lift up the protection net and remove it (for models with protection net).

Slide the left side of the suction grille to the right and unfasten the 2 left hooks.

Unfasten the 3 right side hooks and remove the suction grille.

Terminal Board and Wire Fixture Removal

Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Disconnect the connector [S70].

Release the fan motor lead wire from the groove.

Remove the nut (M6 size) and then the outdoor fan.

Remove the 2 screws and then the fan motor fixing frame.

Warning: Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Remove the 2 screws of the partition plate.

Lift up the partition plate and remove it.

Fit the hook on the bottom frame when reassembling.

Remove the electronic expansion valve coil.
