Ensure the pump is turned off and isolated from the power supply

Is the pump used for liquids that harden or crystallize?

Ensure the pump is washed before taking it out of operation if used with hardening liquids

Clean the external parts of the pump and motor to remove dust and deposits

Are the washing liquids compatible with the process liquid and the pump?

Ensure washing liquids are compatible with the process liquid and the pump

Wear suitable personal protective equipment

Is the pump used for liquids that harden or crystallize?

Run the pump with washing fluids before taking it out of operation

Perform internal cleaning by running the pump with compatible washing fluids

Fill in the Declaration of Decontamination if sending the pump for maintenance/repair work at C.S.F. Inox

Ensure the pump is turned off and isolated from the power supply

Gather necessary tools and replacement bearings

Remove the pump casing to access the bearings

Extract the old bearings from the pump shaft

Install the new bearings onto the pump shaft

Did the pump generate the required discharge head rapidly?

Repeat the priming operations if the required discharge head was not achieved.

Discharge Head and Capacity Check

Is the delivery gate valve opened more than necessary?

Throttle the discharge if the pump operates with a lower discharge head than required.

Is the discharge head greater than required?

Consider reducing the impeller diameter if the discharge head is greater than required.

Is the discharge head lower than required?

Verify the pump is intended for food product handling and requires cleaning.

Select the appropriate cleaning method (CIP or manual disassembly).

Choose necessary detergents, operating temperatures, and concentrations based on the food product.

Check compatibility of chemical products and operating temperatures with pump components.

Prerinse with cold water (15-25°C) for 10-15 minutes.

Warm prerinse with water at 45-60°C for 10 minutes.

Rinse with alkaline solution at 70-80°C for 20-30 minutes.
