Ensure all system and pump components have cooled before handling

Is the system drained if no valves are installed?

Has the liquid stopped coming out of the drain valve?

Repair notes if isolation valves are not sealing properly

Remove the spring retainer and seal spring

Pry the compression ring off the seal boot

Insert a standard screwdriver under the seal head and carefully pry the seal head off the shaft. Do not scratch the shaft sleeve.

Use a small screwdriver to loosen and remove the seal seat and gasket.

Is the seat retainer in good condition?

If the seat retainer is in bad condition, pry it out and replace it with the new one provided in the seal kit.

Replace any part that does not meet the required criteria

Clean the pump parts in solvent to remove oil, grease, and dirt

Protect machined surfaces while cleaning to prevent equipment damage

Replacement of Gaskets and O-Rings

Inspect the seats for smoothness and physical defects

Disconnect and lock out electrical power before installing or servicing the unit.

Always disconnect and lock out power to the driver before performing any installation or maintenance tasks.

Turn off and lock out power to the motor.

Disconnect the power leads from the motor leads.

Remove the conduit and power leads from the conduit box.

Support the motor and remove the four screws that hold the motor to the bearing assembly.
