If keyed with size 4J, ensure shaft extends 0.25 in. past the coupler half flange face and setscrews are tightened

If keyed with size 5J, ensure shaft is flush with the coupler half flange face and setscrews are tightened

Position the coupler half on the motor shaft

Select the motor shaft type

If dimpled, ensure setscrew is positioned over the dimple and tightened

If keyed, ensure coupler half is slid onto the motor shaft without tightening setscrews
