If dimpled shaft, ensure setscrew is positioned over the dimple and tightened

If keyed shaft with size 3J coupler, slide the coupler half on the shaft without tightening the setscrew

If keyed shaft with size 4J coupler, ensure shaft end extends 0.25 in. past the coupler half flange face and tighten setscrews

If keyed shaft with size 5J coupler, ensure shaft end is flush with the coupler half flange face and tighten setscrews

Ensure the coupler setscrew is seated in the shaft dimple

Lift the motor into position and attach the motor side coupler half

Ensure the motor side coupler setscrew is seated in the shaft dimple

Support the motor and install the four screws that hold the motor to the bearing assembly

Attach the conduit and power leads to the conduit box

Connect the power leads to the motor leads

Replace the conduit box cover

Check for proper motor rotation (clockwise when viewed from the back of the motor)
