Power Removal
Initial Power Disconnection
Rotate the red disconnect handle counter-clockwise to the OFF position.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to rotate the locks counter-clockwise to open the auxiliary circuit breaker door on the front cover.
Breaker Verification
Verify that all breakers are in the OFF position.
Safety Precautions
Verify that all incoming power is disconnected and discharged before removing the cover.
Upstream Power Disconnection
Disconnect the upstream power source and perform lock out / tag out on the upstream 400/480V AC.
ETAP Module Replacement
Remove Power
Remove the Front Cover
Disconnect the wires using a flathead screwdriver
Disconnect the Ethernet cables
Install the new ETAP module
Attach the wires to the terminals
Attach the Front Cover
Configuration Information
Main Circuit Breaker Replacement
Remove Power
Remove the Front Cover
Remove wires from the input and output side of the main circuit breaker using a #5 hex key
Remove the two screws fastening the main circuit breaker to the enclosure using a Phillips screwdriver
Remove the two screws holding the circuit breaker shaft in the main circuit breaker assembly using a Phillips screwdriver
Remove the three screws from the rotary mechanism of the main circuit breaker using a miniature Phillips screwdriver
Remove the two screws connecting the rotary disconnect switch to the front cover using a T20 torque bit
Inspect the new main circuit breaker and/or rotary mechanism
Attach rotary mechanism of the main circuit breaker to the circuit breaker using three M3 x 36 mm screws and a miniature Phillips screwdriver
PowerFlex Frame 2 Drive Replacement
Remove Power
Remove the Front Cover
Remove the front cover from the drive
Squeeze the locking tabs and pull out the bottom of cover
Pull the cover down and away from the chassis
Loosen the retention screw
Lift the cradle until the latch engages
Disconnect the HIM cable
Disconnect the Ethernet cable
