Enter the number of firings since the last check program.

Has the device displayed a recommendation to start the self-check program?

In the 'Setup' menu, select the program 'Check program', and tap on [Start].

Save the results of the self-check in a diagnosis file.

Did the diagnostic data reveal any issues with processing firing programs?

Be aware of hazards listed in section 2.4

Ensure heating element and thermocouples are not damaged

Use DEKEMA calibration set specific to the furnace

Use insulation table for calibration

Clean the housing and control elements

Use a soft cloth moistened with a mild cleanser

Avoid using scouring agents, scouring pads or solvents such as alcohol, gasoline or acetone

Keep the sealing ring of the lift seat free of dust

Use a brush with a receptacle for ceramic dust

Is the technician authorized to perform technical servicing or repairs?

Has the self-check program been run to determine if the heating element wear exceeds the permissible limit?

Follow the installation and safety instructions for replacing the heating element

Was the heating element replaced by a trained professional?

Verify the new heating element is functioning correctly
