Have the motors with open bearings been stored for more than six months?

Relubricate bearings with the grease amount indicated on the nameplate before operation

Verify the storage area is free of vibrations, gases, and corrosive agents

Check that the relative humidity does not exceed 60%

Keep the heating resistor on to avoid water condensation inside the motor

Manually rotate the motor shaft at least once a month, making at least 5 turns

Ensure the motor shaft is left in a different position after rotation

Measure the motor's insulation resistance

Check the recommended values and measurement procedures on the website

Ensure free airflow around the motor

Describe any issues found during inspection

Check the condition of the shaft grounding brush

Replace the shaft grounding brush if it has reached the end of its useful life

Verify if the motor has an internal grounding brush

Check the internal grounding brush during bearing or internal motor part maintenance
