Enter the discharge pressure reading

Is the discharge pressure stable?

Are the motor amps within the expected range?

Is the pump operating above the rated full load amps?

Is there excessive air or vapor in the liquid supply?

Is the pump losing its prime and becoming vapor bound?

Are there large fluctuations in the discharge pressure gauge?

Adjust valve for R & RA-type pumps

Ensure all valves in the reverse circulation line are fully open during pump operation

Verify correct restriction orifice is installed in the reverse circulation line

Enter the reverse circulation flow rate

Is the reverse circulation flow rate within the specified range?

Disconnect power cables to prevent safety hazards

Remove Drain Plug (59) or open drain valve to drain the liquid in the pump

Check for high pressure buildup before opening Air Vent Valve (36)

Remove Circulation Pipe (34) or heat exchanger (B-type)

Insert support under Casing (01) to relieve stress from piping

Remove fixing Bolt (46B) or (46C) of Casing (01) for back pullout disassembly

Remove Bolt (46D) and slide the pump backward on the Base (40)

Set overload relay at the rated current indicated on the nameplate

Ensure the overload relay is set as close to actual operating conditions as possible

Confirm the relay setting does not exceed the nameplate full load rating

Determine relay setting based on voltage & load variation

Confirm relay setting for initial commissioning before first start

Open vent valve slowly and pay attention to liquid, especially for toxic or high temperature liquid

Complete priming in the following order

Bleed air from the air vent valve (36)

If handling a dangerous liquid, did you pay full attention to air venting?

For R & RA-type pumps, are all valves in reverse circulation piping opened?
