Check the TRG meter during operation
Determine bearing changing intervals using color coding system if initial TRG reading is not recorded
Check bearing wear using TRG meter color change
Is the TRG reading increase 0.3 or more (Yellow)?
Stop the pump and check bearings if TRG reading is Yellow
Do not operate if TRG meter condition is RED
TRG Meter Color Scale Zones
Verify TRG meter is in Green zone (0 to 0.5)
Pre-Start Inspection
5.3.5 Trial Operation
Open suction valve
Close discharge valve
Check that valves in reverse circulation piping are opened (for R & RA-type)
Slightly open discharge valve
Switch on pump
Check discharge pressure
Check indication of TRG meter
Meter overscale: Pump rotates in reverse direction — correct connection of electrical terminals
Overload Relay Inspection
5.3.1 Setting Overload Relay
Set overload relay at rated current indicated on the nameplate
Ensure overload relay is set as close to actual operating conditions as possible
Confirm relay setting does not exceed the nameplate full load rating
Determine relay setting based on voltage & load variation
Confirm relay setting is applied during initial commissioning
Pump Maintenance
6.1 Disassembly
Ensure valves are fully closed
Disconnect power cables to prevent safety hazards
Remove Circulation Pipe (34) or heat exchanger (B-type)
Insert support under Casing (01) to relieve stress from piping
Remove fixing Bolt (46B) or (46C) of Casing (01) for back pullout disassembly
Remove Bolt (46D) and slide pump backward on Base (40)
Inspect pump casing for wear
Measure the gap 'g' before further disassembling
