Ensure all valves are in the correct initial position

Open vent valve slowly and monitor for liquid presence, especially if handling toxic or high temperature liquid

Open discharge valve for a few seconds and then close it again

Bleed air from the air vent valve (36)

If handling a dangerous liquid, did you pay full attention to air venting?

For R & RA-type pumps, are all valves in reverse circulation piping opened?

Shaft Sleeve (17) and Thrust Collar (18) Inspection

Inspect for contact marks or wear

Are there any other contact marks or wear?

Fasten Holder (41) to the Base (40) with Bolt (46D), Plate Washer (54) and Spring Washer (53C)

Check the tightness of every fastener, especially Bolts (46B), (46C), and (46F)

Re-tighten all bolts before use

Confirm this is the initial installation

Verify specified media and capacity are used for heating/cooling jacket and heat exchanger

Adopt data from Table 5-2 unless otherwise specified

Record the temperature of the coolant

Is the coolant temperature less than 35°C (95°F)?

Verify coolant flow rates by motor frame

Coolant Flow Order Verification

Is the coolant flow order Motor Jacket → Heat Exchanger?

Disconnect power cables to prevent safety hazards

Remove Circulation Pipe (34) or heat exchanger (B-type)

Insert support under Casing (01) to relieve stress from piping

Remove fixing Bolt (46B) or (46C) of Casing (01) for back pullout disassembly

Remove Bolt (46D) and slide pump backward on Base (40)

Measure the gap "g" before further disassembling
