Ohaus Moisture Analyzer MB27

Remove the Pan Support for the temperature calibration to start.

Place the OHAUS Temperature Calibration Kit into the temperature chamber and close the cover.

Press and hold Cal until “Cal” is displayed. Release when “TC100” appears and the heater turns on.

Wait for 15 minutes until the unit beeps and blinks “100” on the display.

Read the thermometer on the Temperature Calibration Kit.

Press Set to change and match the displayed value to the thermometer reading.

Press Tare to enter the value. Confirm that the display shows “TC160” as the heater turns on again.

Disconnect the Analyzer from the power supply

Ensure the Analyzer is cooled down before cleaning

Ensure no liquid enters the interior of the Analyzer

Clean housing surfaces and temperature sensor with a lint-free cloth dampened with water or mild cleaning agent

Clean glass surfaces with a commercial glass cleaner

Avoid using the following during cleaning

Remove any load on the Pan Support including the sample pan

Press and hold Cal while in the Weigh mode until “CAL” appears followed by “50.00g”

Place a 50g calibration mass on the Pan Support when prompted

Remove the mass when “--0--” is shown on the display

Did the Analyzer return to Weigh mode indicating calibration completion?

Was START pressed to cancel the calibration without saving changes?
