Turn the Indicator OFF and disconnect the AC power

Wait one minute, then reconnect the AC power to the Indicator

Check to ensure that the Indicator retained calibration settings

Verify all connections are secure

Document any anomalies observed during the test

Unplug the AC Adapter before cleaning

Clean the outside using approved cleaning solutions for the stainless-steel Indicator housing and rinse with water

Note any issues observed during cleaning

Check the Power Cord for broken or damaged insulation

Make a visual inspection for faulty connectors, wiring, and loose hardware

Describe any faults found during inspection

Verify communication parameters match between the Indicator and the external device

Press the Print/Units button on the Indicator

Check if printing occurs on the external printer or computer

If printing fails, describe the issue

Battery Disconnection and Replacement

Disconnect the quick-connect tabs from the old battery

Connect the quick-connect tabs to the replacement battery

Insert the replacement battery into the compartment

Perform testing procedures as per Chapter 4 and describe any issues found

Did the battery pass all testing procedures?

Handling and Storage Precautions

Store the indicator in a clean, dry, dust-free area

Handle the indicator carefully to avoid damage

Has the indicator been exposed to chemicals or liquids?

Clean all exterior surfaces with warm water on a damp cloth if exposed to chemicals or liquids

Allow at least 10 minutes for the indicator to stabilize after reaching the environmental temperature
