Indicator Overload/Underload Test
Underload Test
Ensure the Indicator is ON and no mass is on the scale base.
Lift up on the scale base platform and check if the display indicates Error 8.2.
Release the platform and verify the display returns to zero.
Overload Test
Place a mass on the scale base platform that slightly exceeds its capacity.
Check if the Indicator display shows Error 8.1.
Remove the mass and verify the display returns to zero.
Ensure not to exceed Load Cell capacity during the test.
Indicator RS232 Interface / Print Test
Setup Communication Parameters
Ensure communication parameters are set according to Section 1.9.1
Test Print Function
Connect the Indicator to an external printer or computer
Press the Print/Units button on the Indicator

Display Printed Circuit Board Replacement
Preparation
Separate the Top and Bottom Housing
Remove the Main PCB from T71XW
Display PCB Removal
Remove the four screws holding the Display PCB to the Top Housing
Carefully lift out the Display PCB to avoid stretching the fine plastic ribbon cable connected to the Membrane Switch
Gently remove the two ribbon cables connected to the Membrane Switch and the Main PCB, avoiding bending the pins
Display PCB Installation
Connect the ribbon cables to the replacement Display PCB and position the board over the screw holes
Indicator Inspection
Preparation
Unplug the AC Adapter before cleaning.
Has the Indicator been moved from a different temperature area?
Cleaning Procedures
Select the Indicator model and perform the appropriate cleaning procedure.
Ensure no chemical cleaners or solvents are used.
Inspection
Check the Power Cord for broken or damaged insulation.
Make a visual inspection for faulty connectors, wiring, and loose hardware.
Indicator Power Test
Plug the AC Adapter or line cord into a suitable power source
Press the ON/ZERO Off button with the Indicator connected to power
Check if all displays appear normal during the self-test
If the display did not appear, check AC input and adapter functionality
If the display was erratic, the PC board requires replacement
