Power on the balance and check the display

Select a mass near the maximum capacity and place it on the center of the Pan

Record the reading on the display

Remove the mass and check if the reading returns to 0g ±2 count

Repeat the test three times and check if readings are within ±2 count

Is the deviation greater than ±2 d for any set of readings?

Inspect for mechanical obstructions and correct if necessary

Move the scale to a suitable location, ensure it is level, and retry

Place the test weight in the center of the Weighing Pan

If the reading at point A is negative, file at points 1 and 4 AT AN ANGLE

If the reading at point B is negative, file at points 1 and 2 STRAIGHT ACROSS

Use a broad knife to remove the label

Clean the glue residue from the Housing surface

Carefully place the new label where the old one was

Lift the battery’s front end to access the quick-connect tabs

Ensure no short-circuit occurs with the battery leads

Pull the quick-connect tabs free of the battery posts

Position the replacement battery in the compartment at an angle to access the battery posts

Insert the quick-connect tabs on their respective posts

Place the battery fully in the battery compartment

Unplug the cable leads connecting the Load Cell to the PCB.

Turn the scale over and remove the bolts and washers that hold the Load Cell assembly to the Bottom Housing.

Remove the bolts and their washer pairs that hold the Load Cell Frame to the Load Cell using a high-leverage Allen wrench.

Lift the Load Cell away from the frame.

Secure the bottom frame to the load cell with the screws.

Secure the top frame to the load cell.
