Thermal Relays Reset
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this procedure.
Is alarm 264 THERMAL TRIP (SINGLE BLOCK) displayed?
If the alarm is not displayed, stop the procedure.
Select the tripped thermal relay
Was the cause of overloading removed?
If the cause of overloading was not removed, report the issue and stop the procedure.
Was the thermal relay reset successfully?
Sign off on the thermal relays reset
Chucking Cylinder Cleaning
Warning: Ensure the machine is turned off and disconnected from power source before starting the cleaning process.
Tool to be used: Allen wrench
Check if coolant collector is clogged with chips
If coolant collector is clogged, proceed with the following steps
Upload a photo of the coolant collector before cleaning
Remove the three bolts (1)
Pull up the plate (2)
Upload a photo of the removed chips
Sign off on the cleaning process
Tool Eye Maintenance
Checking the TOOL EYE for extending/retracting
TOOL EYE extending: Address X9 (bit 9 of X0000)
TOOL EYE retracting: Address XA (bit A of X0000)
Replacement of the TOOL EYE sensor
Press the TOOL SET MEASURE menu key to extend the TOOL EYE arm to the measuring position
Remove the four bolts
Pull the joint section from the arm body, and pull that section away by slightly rotating it
Remove the bolts and then the TOOL EYE sensor
Mount the new TOOL EYE sensor and fix it in place following the above steps in the reverse order
Tail Spindle Remove
Tools to be used: Plastic hammer Cotter
Insert the cotter into the cotter slot
Tap the cotter with a plastic hammer
Remove the tail spindle
Sign off on the tail spindle removal
Tailstock Lubrication
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel with PPE!
Enter the current lubricating oil pressure in kgf/cm2
If the lubricating oil pressure is below 1 kgf/cm2, report the issue to the maintenance team and stop the procedure
Is the lubricating pump unit functioning properly?
Is the flow unit functioning properly?
Is the SLIDEWAY LUBRICATION ALARM displayed on the CRT screen?
Sign off on the tailstock lubrication
