Inspect if the belt is tracking centred on the pulleys

Is the belt tracking off centre at the idle pulley?

Loosen the 3/8-16 B.H.C.S. (x2)

Insert belt tension tool into the 3/8-16 knurled nut

Adjust the knurled nut to move the casting

Square up drive pulley with frame

Install belt according to assembly instructions guide

Centre the belt on the idle pulley

Tighten up the idle pulley and maintain belt centre

If belt tracks off centre of idle pulley, tighten the take-up on the side the belt is running toward as shown in the belt tracking diagram

Check that all tools and equipment are removed from the work area

Verify that the belt is operating smoothly without any unusual noises

Record any issues encountered during the installation

Check for foreign objects inside the conveyor

Warn all personnel in the area that the conveyor is about to start

Is the conveyor operating smoothly?

Check that all components are working properly

Ensure the conveyor is turned off and locked out

Gather necessary tools and materials (e.g., Mobil 600W lubricant, wrenches, oil pan)

Place an oil pan under the gear reducer

Remove the drain plug and allow old oil to completely drain out

Inspect the drain plug for any damage and clean it

Reinstall the drain plug securely

Monitor the belt for a short period of time to ensure nothing has loosened up during shipment

Is the belt centred on the pulleys?
