6 Monthly Oil Cooler Inspection
3.2 Cleaning the Oil Cooler
Ensure the pump is at standstill before cleaning the oil cooler
Check the oil cooler for dirt accumulation
Protect the pump from being switched on and separate it from the vacuum system
Wear protective goggles when using compressed air
Perform a visual inspection by removing one of the cover sections
Clean the oil cooler with an industrial vacuum cleaner
Disassemble the cooler if dirt is highly adhesive
Observe safety regulations from Chapter 3

Check the exhaust silencer
Empty the exhaust silencer
Verify if the pump is fitted with the optional exhaust silencer with condensate drain (P/N 119 002)
Pump Oil Level Check
3.1 Checking the Oil Level
Ensure the pump and oil have cooled down below 70 °C
Wear protective gear
Is the oil level between the maximum and minimum mark with the pump at standstill?
Does the oil level drop to the minimum mark during pump operation?
Top up oil if the level drops to the minimum mark during operation
Check the oil level at the oil sight glass, ensuring the oil level itself is decisive, not the upper edge of the float
1 Yearly Pump Inspection
Non-Return Valve Inspection
Perform function test on non-return valve
Clean non-return valve
Replace O-rings on non-return valve
Refer to Brief Instructions KA02486
Check required spare parts for non-return valve
Is the pump fitted with the optional non-return valve (P/N 119 011)?
Pump Adapter Inspection
Replace O-rings on Ruvac adapter
6 Monthly Condensate Separator Maintenance
3.3 Draining Out Condensate (optional)
Separate the pump from the process by a valve
Check the optional silencer (P/N 119 002) for condensate collection
Is there liquid collected in the silencer?
Drain liquid from the silencer through the condensate drain
Empty the condensate separator
