Remove the inlet screen from the intake port

Clean the inlet screen in a suitable way

Replace the inlet screen if defective

Are large amounts of abrasive materials present?

Fit a suitable dust filter into the intake line if necessary

Check the exhaust silencer components

Refer to Brief Instructions KA02487 for detailed guidance

Is the pump fitted with the optional exhaust silencer with condensate drain (P/N 119 002)?

3.4 Cleaning the Dust Filter (optional)

Check for contamination in the dust filter

Clean the dust filter if contamination is found

Reinstall the dust filter after cleaning

Is the inspection being carried out by the Leybold service?

Is the rotor inspection (opening of the pump chamber) being done by the Leybold Vacuum Field Service?

Ensure availability of required spare parts: EK 1100000821

3.1.1 Oil Change and Oil Filter Change

Ensure the pump and oil have cooled down below 70 °C

Place a 10-litre collecting vessel under the ScrewLine

Disassemble the cover section on the exhaust side

Unscrew the oil drain plug and oil fill plug to drain the oil

Clean the sealing surface and screw in the oil drain plug with a perfect gasket

Wipe off any oil residues on the housing
