Pumping Chamber Cleaning
5.6 Cleaning the Pumping Chamber
Ensure all safety precautions from Section 5.1 are observed
Remove the two connecting lines
Choose the method to remove contaminants
Change the oil after cleaning
Check if impellers move freely and without resistance by turning them by hand
Ensure no loosened deposits remain in the pump
Note if disassembly is required and contact after-sales service if necessary

5.8 Exchanging the Shaft Seals
Verify shaft seal components
Check oil level in the oiler (10/1)
Diagnosis — inner shaft seal fault
Is the oil level in the oiler dropping without oil appearing under the shaft seal housing?
Switch off the pump immediately if inner shaft seal is faulty
Diagnosis — outer shaft seal fault
Is the oil level in the oiler dropping with oil appearing under the shaft seal housing?
Collect oil dripping under the motor to prevent slipping

5.3 Oil change/shaft seal housing
Observe all safety information provided in Section 5.1
Unscrew the oil-drain screw (10/3) under the shaft seal housing
Drain out the oil
Screw in the oil-drain screw using a gasket in perfect condition
Fill in fresh oil at the oiler (10/1)
Is the oil level for the shaft seal housing visible in the oiler?
Maximum level
Select the current state of the pump
Dirt Trap Cleaning
5.5 Cleaning the Dirt Trap
Observe all safety information provided in Section 5.1
Remove the intake line
Remove the dirt trap from the intake flange
Rinse the dirt trap using a suitable solvent
Thoroughly dry the dirt trap with compressed air
Check if the dirt trap is damaged
Replace the dirt trap if it is damaged
Gear Box Oil Level Check

Check the oil level and condition in the oil level glass and oiler
Is the oil light-brown in color?
Correct the oil level as required
Oil Level - Gear Box
Select the flow orientation
Enter the oil level in the oil-level glass (8/2)
Is the oil level correct for the selected flow orientation?
Adjust the oil level if necessary
