Ensure the pump and oil have cooled down below 70 °C

Check the oil level at the oil sight glass

Is the oil level between the maximum and minimum mark?

Does the oil level drop to the minimum mark during operation?

Top up oil if the level is at the minimum mark during operation

3.3 Draining Out Condensate (optional)

Ensure the pump is separated from the process by a valve before draining condensate

Check the optional silencer (P/N 119 002) for collected condensate

Is much condensate collected in the silencer?

Define the interval between regular checks based on ambient conditions and process experience

Ensure all aids used are clean to avoid oil contamination

Disassemble the cover section on the exhaust side

Fill in the lubricant until the oil level reaches the maximum mark

Enter the amount of oil filled in litres

Clean the oil fill port and screw the oil fill plug back in using a gasket in perfect condition

Fit the cover back in reverse order as described in Chapter 2.4.1

3.6 Table/Maintenance and Servicing Work ScrewLine SP 250

Check the exhaust silencer components

Refer to Brief Instructions KA02487 for detailed guidance

Is the pump fitted with the optional exhaust silencer with condensate drain (P/N 119 002)?

Ensure the pump is at standstill before cleaning the oil cooler

Check the oil cooler for dirt accumulation

Protect the pump from being switched on and separate it from the vacuum system

Wear protective goggles when using compressed air

Perform a visual inspection by removing one of the cover sections

Clean the oil cooler with an industrial vacuum cleaner

Disassemble the cooler if dirt is highly adhesive
