Ensure all aids used are clean to avoid oil contamination

Disassemble the cover section on the exhaust side by unlocking the closure screws

Fill in the lubricant until the oil level reaches the maximum mark

Is the oil filled at room temperature?

Enter the amount of oil filled in litres

Clean the oil fill port and screw the oil fill plug back in using a gasket in perfect condition

Fit the cover back in reverse order as described in Chapter 2.4.1

3.3 Draining Out Condensate (optional)

Separate the pump from the process by a valve

Check the optional silencer (P/N 119 002) for condensate

Drain liquid from the silencer through the condensate drain

Is the silencer regularly checked for condensate?

3.1.1 Oil Change and Oil Filter Change

Ensure the pump and oil have cooled down below 70 °C

Place a 10-litre collecting vessel under the ScrewLine

Disassemble the cover section on the exhaust side

Unscrew the oil drain plug and oil fill plug to drain the oil

Clean the sealing surface and screw in the oil drain plug with a perfect gasket

Wipe off any oil residues on the housing

3.1.1.1 Replacing the Oil Filter

2.9.1.1 Maintenance on the Air Filter

Ensure all necessary tools and safety equipment are available

Open the locking clips at the air filter and remove the dust cap

Apply an open jaw spanner to the hexagon and unscrew the filter element

Blow out the filter element from the threaded side with dry compressed air

Re-seal the thread with Teflon tape and refit the filter element

Fit the dust cap again and affix it with the locking clips

Fit the cover in the reverse order as described in Chapter 2.4.1

Solenoid Gas Ballast Valve Version

Run the pump dry for at least 30 minutes

Seal off the flanges with desiccant and foil

Drain out the oil before long-term storage

Package the pump in polyethylene foil and seal it air-tight
