1 Weekly Oil Level Check
Operation
Check the oil level in the oil sump
Is the oil level at the correct position in the sight gauge?
Replenish oil if necessary
Check for any oil leaks

5 Weekly Drive End Bearing Lubrication
Lubrication — For Units with grease lubricated drive end
Verify the following conditions
Use specified NLGI #2 premium grade aluminium complex grease, Roots P/N T20019002
Ensure no lithium based grease is used
Technical supplement for URAI-G Gas blowers — Lubrication
Use specified NLGI #2 premium grade aluminum complex grease, Roots P/N T20019002
Ensure hydraulic pressure relief fittings are in place to vent excess grease
Check restriction plug and metering orifice for proper function
Use a manual pressure gun to lubricate bearings

Check applicable speed and operating hours
Use specified NLGI #2 premium grade aluminium complex grease, Roots P/N T20019002
Ensure no lithium based grease is used

Ensure hydraulic pressure relief fittings are in place to vent excess grease
Check restriction plug and metering orifice for proper function
Slowly force new lubricant into each drive end bearing housing until traces of clean grease come out of the relief fitting
Avoid using electric or pneumatic grease gun

Use caution when opening the head plate seal vent chamber plugs (43)
Check for gas leakage through the mechanical seals
Purge each seal chamber with an inert gas if gas leakage is undesirable
Maintain purge gas pressure
Check for gear end oil and drive end grease leakage into the gas stream
Verify compatibility of gases with blower materials
Contact factory if there are questions regarding application or operation
