Motor Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Lock-out the gas supply to the unit
Lock-out the electrical power to the unit
Motor Cleaning
Clean exterior surfaces of the motor
Ensure no water or solvents enter the motor or bearings
Motor Lubrication
Check if the motor has grease fittings
Grease the motor according to manufacturer's recommendations
Chilled Water Coils Maintenance
Blowing-Out Coils
Close valves on the supply and return lines
Open drain valves and/or drain plug. Remove vent plug to allow coil to drain faster
Connect a blower to the caps. Do not connect the blower to the air vent or drain plug
Close the vent plug on the header that the blower is connected to. Open the drain valve or cap on the other header
Turn on blower for 30 minutes
Did the mirror fog up when placed at discharge?
Repeat procedure until no fog appears on the mirror
After drying the coil, wait a few minutes then repeat Step #5
Cooling Coil Maintenance
Safety Precautions
Lock-out the gas supply to the unit
Lock-out the electrical power to the unit
Inspection and Repair
Inspect the coil for signs of corrosion and/or leaks
Repair any leaks as required
Cleaning Procedures
Inspect the coil's surface for foreign material
Clean the coil from the leaving air-side if necessary
3 Yearly Cooling Media Replacement
Safety Precautions
Lock-out the gas supply to the unit
Lock-out the electrical power to the unit
Cooling Media Maintenance
Brush the media lightly with a soft bristle brush while flushing with water

Initial Equipment Check
Safety Precautions
Disconnect and lock-out all power and gas before performing any maintenance or service to the unit.
Ensure all tools are available: Voltage Meter, Amperage Meter, Pressure Gauges, Tachometer, Thermometer, U-tube manometer or equivalent.
Pre-Operational Checks
Check the housing, fan, and ductwork for any foreign objects before running the fan.
Electrical and Mechanical Checks
Tug test all internal electrical connections to ensure no loose connections occurred during shipment.
Check fasteners for tightness
Is the supply fan wheel free to rotate without striking or rubbing any stationary objects?
