Ensure the motor is powered off and disconnected from the power source

Remove dust from the motor housing using a dry cloth or brush

Wipe off grease build-up from the motor housing with a dry cloth

Ensure no water or solvents have entered the motor or bearings during cleaning

Check that the motor housing is clean and free of dust and grease

Verify that the motor bearings are intact and undisturbed

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Are extended grease lines present?

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Ensure no dust and grease build-up remains on the motor

Confirm no water or solvents have entered the motor or bearings
