Fasteners and Setscrews Inspection

Check all fasteners and setscrews for tightness

Does the propeller rotate freely without rubbing on the fan panel venturi?

Is the propeller rotation direction correct according to the rotation decal?

Momentarily turn the unit on to check propeller rotation direction

Refer to bearing lubrication instructions

Gather necessary cleaning materials and tools

Inspect for moisture or dirt accumulations on parts

Was moisture or dirt found on any parts?

Describe the source of moisture or dirt, if found

Is there any paint deterioration?

Calculate proper belt deflection

Measure belt deflection at midpoint

Loosen fasteners on motor plate

Clean the exterior surface of the motor

Ensure no water or solvents enter the motor or bearings
