Check all dampers for proper operation

Check backdraft dampers by hand to ensure blades open and close freely

Apply power to motorized dampers

Does the actuator open and close the damper as designed?

Check the condition of the belts for the following issues

Are the sheaves free from grooves?

Are all belts being replaced on multiple groove drives?

Loosen belt tension before removing belts

Ensure slack in each belt is on the same side of the drive after replacement

Turn off electrical power at disconnect switches

Use caution when removing access panels

Check all moving components for proper lubrication

Apply lubrication where required

Are there any components showing excessive wear?

List components that need replacement due to excessive wear

Filter Inspection and Replacement

Check the condition of the filters in the outdoor air and exhaust airstreams

Is replacement of any filter necessary?

Filter Specifications Verification

Ensure replacement filters are of the same performance and quality as factory installed filters

Verify acceptable filter replacements

Check the integrity of the bulb seal on the door frame

Inspect for any visible damage or wear on the seal

Ensure the seal is properly aligned with the door frame

Clean the seal and surrounding area

Document any issues found during inspection
