Check the following conditions of the fan belts

Are the belts worn out and need replacement?

Loosen belt tension before removing belts

Ensure slack in each belt is on the same side of the drive after replacement

Are the sheaves free of grooves and wear?

Inspect fan impeller for fatigue, corrosion, or wear

Inspect fan housing for fatigue, corrosion, or wear

Clean the wheel and housing if oil and dust accumulation is observed

Check all fasteners, set screws, and locking collars for tightness

Is the maintenance program preserving the performance and reliability of the fan?

Check the integrity of the bulb seal on the door frame

Inspect for any visible damage or wear on the seal

Ensure the seal is properly aligned with the door frame

Clean the seal and surrounding area

Document any issues found during inspection

Accessing the Energy Recovery Core

Disconnect the power to the ECV

Removing the Energy Recovery Core

Remove energy core access doors

Gently vacuum the surfaces of the core to remove dirt and debris

Filter Inspection and Replacement

Check the condition of the filters in the outdoor air and exhaust airstreams

Is replacement of any filter necessary?

Select the replacement filter used

Ensure replacement filters are of the same performance and quality as factory installed filters

Ensure filter type is pleated design with integral metal grid

Access the outdoor air filters through the door labeled 'Filter Access'

Install the new filters ensuring proper airflow through the unit
