Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Ensure no water or solvents enter the motor or bearings

Check if the motor has grease fittings

Grease the motor according to manufacturer's recommendations

Tug test all internal electrical connections to ensure no loose connections occurred during shipment.

Enter the supplied voltage, hertz, and phase.

Does the supplied voltage, hertz, and phase match the unit and motor(s) nameplate information?

Is the fan rotating in the correct direction?

Check for unusual noise, vibration, or overheating of the bearings.

Measure the motor’s voltage, amps, and RPM.

Do the motor’s voltage, amps, and RPM match the specifications?

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Test the circulating fluid for sediment

Test the circulating fluid for corrosive products

Test the circulating fluid for biological contaminants

Take corrective measures if any contaminants are found

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Clean the wheel and housing if oil and dust accumulation is found

Clear snow away from roof mounted units

Ensure snow is clear of the intake and access doors

Turn off electrical supply to the unit

Turn off gas supply to the unit

Disconnect the union between manifold and gas valve

Remove burner manifold and burner assembly

Inspect orifices and burners for debris

Clean orifices and burners as necessary
