Is the storage environment humid, dusty, or corrosive?

Purge the bearings if the environment is humid, dusty, or corrosive

Check precautions to prevent deterioration during storage

Is the fan stored properly to avoid warranty voidance?

Inspection and Maintenance Record

Record inspection and maintenance performed

Check for moisture or dirt accumulations on parts

Describe the source of moisture or dirt if found

Ensure the machine is powered off and locked out for safety.

Check for visible signs of wear or damage on the following components

Are the motor and drive shafts parallel?

Is the fan RPM as specified by the customer?

Purge grease before putting fan into service

Ensure precautions are taken to prevent deterioration of the unit during storage

Check all fasteners and set screws for tightness

Rotate the fan wheel by hand to ensure no parts are rubbing

Access the fan wheel through the bolted panel on the side of the fan housing

Ensure proper wheel settings for radial gap and alignment
