Ensure all protective equipment is worn

Ensure crane and lifting gear are available

Ensure 'Staburags N12' grease is available

Loosen and unscrew the cylinder foot nuts

Carefully pull the cylinders off the crankcase over the studs

Take off the cylinder foot gasket and dispose of it in an environmentally sound manner

Clean the sealing surfaces on the cylinder foot and crankcase

Ensure power supply is disconnected and secured against reconnection

Secure live cables against direct contact

Install live cables in line with applicable standards and directives

Disassembly of Solenoid Drain Valve

Ensure all protective equipment is worn

Loosen clamps and remove the air filter cover

Remove the air filter insert from the air filter housing

Clean the air filter housing with a lint-free cloth

Fit a new air filter insert in the air filter housing

Attach the air filter cap and close the clamps

Ensure all protective equipment is worn

Ensure only new gaskets are used for re-installation of valves, cylinder heads, and cylinders

Ensure only genuine Sauer spare parts are used

Ensure used valves are replaced and disposed of, not repaired

Check the exterior of the valve for issues

Establish and describe the cause of any faults found

Ensure all protective equipment is worn

Ensure only new gaskets are used to prevent leakages

Use only genuine Sauer spare parts to avoid damage

Replace and dispose of used valves, do not repair

Removal of Air Filter and Pipe Unions

Loosen the screw on the air filter flange and remove the air filter

Unscrew and remove the pipe unions and hose lines at the cylinder heads
