Store the Nox A1 recorder and accessories in a clean, dry place.

Handle the Nox A1 recorder with care to protect against mechanical shocks, dirt, and liquids.

Has the Nox A1 recorder been unused for 30 days or more?

Remove batteries from the Nox A1 recorder if it has been unused for 30 days or more.

Has the Nox A1 recorder been unused for three months or more?

Charge the internal battery by connecting the Nox A1 recorder to a computer with a USB cable for 6 hours or more if it has been unused for three months or more.

Gather necessary materials and equipment

Soak electrodes in warm water (55-65°C/131-149°F) for minimum 5 minutes

Ensure electrodes are not soaked in alcohol or bleach

Ensure no abrasive-based cleaner is used on electrodes

Use lint-free cloth, soft bristle brush, or Q-tip to remove electrode paste

Apply only light force when cleaning gold plated surfaces

Allow Gold Cup Electrodes to air dry completely (minimum 3 minutes)
