Remove load and depress the down button to release hydraulic pressure

Disconnect the battery before servicing the electrical system

Remove upper console cover, lower battery cover, and mast cover

Lubricate the parking brake guide tube and cam mechanism with Slick 50 One Lube or equivalent

Inspect outrigger pivots and linkage pivots for secure pins and retaining rings

Check outrigger linkage for full extension and over-center lock

Ensure the forks are in the fully lowered position or securely blocked in a raised position before maintenance.

Use eye protection and protective clothing when handling batteries.

Disconnect the battery before servicing the electrical system.

Confirm no unauthorized modifications have been made to the UniLift.

Handle batteries with extreme care to avoid personal injury.

Ensure batteries are not exposed to extreme heat, open flames, or sparks.

Inspect all pivot points in the outrigger pivots and linkage pivots

Inspect mast channels for smoothness and light lubrication

Raise and lower the forks completely. Listen for unusual noises.

Is the fork operation smooth and quiet?

Operate the parking brake to ensure smooth operation.

With the brake pedal depressed, does the UniLift remain stationary when pushed or pulled?

Mast Channels, Cylinder, and Lifting Sling Inspection

Visually inspect the mast channels for smoothness and lubrication.

Are the mast channels smooth, free of filings, and lightly lubricated?

Move the UniLift to an area with good lighting and a suitable work area

Completely lower the forks and turn the key switch to the OFF position

Remove the bolt and nut securing the handle assembly to the brake pivot shaft using two 1/2 inch sockets or wrenches

Pull the handle assembly straight up off the brake pivot shaft and set it aside

Remove the four screws attaching the console plate to the upper console cover using the Allen wrench
