Shock Button Test
Press the flashing orange shock button. Did the beeper emit a short beep?
Did the i-Button backlight flash in blue with the voice prompt: 'Press the flashing blue i-Button'?
i-Button Test
Press the flashing blue i-Button. Did the beeper emit a short beep?
Voice / Text Prompt Testing
Equipment Setup
Set the defibrillator analyzer to output an 80 bpm, 1 mV normal sinus rhythm ECG waveform.
Connect the i-PAD NF1200 to the defibrillator analyzer.
Protocol Verification
Verify that the i-PAD NF1200 goes through the protocol shown in the figure in the next page.

Ensure the following equipment is available

Supplies and Accessories Check
Check supplies, accessories, and spare parts for damage and expiration
Have any supplies expired?
Replace expired supplies immediately
Self-Test Initiation
Initiate complete self-test by performing a Manual Self-Test
Did the self-test detect any problems?
Refer to the Troubleshooting chapter if any problems are detected

Impedance Measurement Testing
Equipment Setup
Ensure all equipment is available
Connect the i-PAD NF1200 to the variable resistive impedance load
Initial Testing at 10Ω
Set the impedance of the variable resistive impedance load to 10Ω
Turn the i-PAD NF1200 ON
Verify that the i-PAD NF1200 does not go beyond the prompt 'ATTACH PADS'
Turn the i-PAD NF1200 OFF

Use a soft, damp cloth moistened with the selected solvent
Ensure no part of the i-PAD NF1200 is immersed in fluids
