Soak the electrodes in warm water (55-65°C/131-149°F) for minimum 5 minutes

Remove all traces of electrode paste using a lint-free cloth, soft bristle brush, or Q-tip

Allow the Gold Cup Electrodes to air dry completely for a minimum of 3 minutes

Disinfect electrodes and leads with PDI Sani-Cloth Plus Germicidal Disposable Cloth for 3 minutes

Allow the Gold Cup Electrodes to air dry completely for a minimum of 1 minute

Store the Nox A1 recorder and accessories in a clean, dry place.

Handle the Nox A1 recorder with care to protect against mechanical shocks, dirt, and liquids.

Have the batteries been removed if the device is not used within 30 days?

Charge the internal battery by connecting the Nox A1 recorder to a computer with a USB cable for 6 hours or more if not used for three months or more.

Ensure Noxturnal software is installed on the computer connected to the Nox A1 recorder.

Only upgrade the firmware with files directly from Nox Medical.

Ensure the Nox A1 recorder is not immersed in any liquids.

Avoid autoclaving the Nox A1 recorder or any sensor.
