Water Presence Sensor Disconnection

Disconnect the water presence sensor cable

Remove the water presence sensor from its cartridge

Lubricate the new cartridge gasket

Tighten the new empty cartridge on the diesel fuel filter support (Nm)

Water Presence Sensor Installation

Tighten the water presence sensor onto the new cartridge (Nm)

Check the mounting kit and chain hanger brackets for cracks and bends.

Are the tie downs positively locked in place?

Ensure that the transport pins on either side are not worn.

Check that both flip locks are working.

Check for damaged or dislodged pins on the end shackles at either end of both chains.

Clean the leaf chain using steam or hot water only

Ensure no additives are used during cleaning

Remove all water from the surface and inside the chain joints using high pressure compressed air

Move the articulating links of the chain several times during the process

Ensure the chain is slack before spraying with a preservative and lubricant

Articulate the chain several times to allow lubricant penetration

Loosen the body clamp to remove the access cover assembly and wipe clean.

Ensure the Vacuator™ Valve is clean and clear.

Did the ServiSignal™ indicate the inlet restriction limit was reached?

Replace the primary filter if the restriction limit was reached.

Reinstall the access cover, ensuring the Vacuator™ Valve is facing downward.

Park forklift on a firm level surface in a SAFE ZONE with keys removed and park brake engaged.

Turn wheels fully inwards to the 4-Way position until they reach the mechanical stop.

Continue to turn the steering against the end stop for approximately 20 seconds.

Is the 4-Way system purged and reset?

Were any defects identified during the pre-shift visual inspection?
