Remove wheel segments from the wheel cassette to avoid splashing liquids inside the cabinet.

Is the energy wheel excessively dirty?

Select the cleaning method to be used

Avoid using aggressive organic solvents such as acetone.

Soak wheel segments overnight if stubborn dirt or accumulations are present.

Shake excess water from the wheel or segments.

Check the condition of the filters

Select the replacement filter used

Ensure replacement filters are of same performance and quality as factory installed filters

Ensure replacement filters are pleated design with integral metal grid

Is the airflow through the unit proper after maintenance?

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Ensure no dust and grease buildup on the motor housing

Avoid using high pressure spray for cleaning

Check if grease fittings are provided

Grease the motor if fittings are available

Record the lubrication schedule from the manufacturer's website

Ensure not to over-lubricate the motor

Check the energy core for visible signs of wear or damage

Inspect the surrounding area for any obstructions or debris

Measure the energy output of the core

Is the energy output within the normal range?

Ensure all cleaning materials are removed from the area

Adjust replacement schedule for MERV 13 and MERV 14 filters as needed
