Reinstallation of Evaporative Media

Reinstall the evaporative media correctly

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Check the V-belt drive for the following issues

Measure the deflection in the belt

Is the belt tension within the normal range?

Is the drive alignment correct using a straight edge across both sheaves?

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Check for oil and dust accumulation on the wheel

Clean the wheel and housing if oil and dust accumulation is found

Clear snow away from roof mounted units

Ensure snow is clear of the intake and access doors

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Coil Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect the coil for signs of corrosion and/or leaks

Describe any leaks found and actions taken

Inspect the coil's surface for foreign material

Does the coil surface need cleaning?

Clean the coil from the leaving air-side if needed

Check if the outside temperature is below 45ºF (7.2ºC)

Clean all interior parts of mineral deposits

Remove any foreign materials from interior parts

Inspect for worn or non-functioning parts
