Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Test the circulating fluid for sediment

Test the circulating fluid for corrosive products

Test the circulating fluid for biological contaminants

Describe corrective measures taken

Verify all required parts and correct quantity received

Are all items on the bill of lading accounted for?

Report any shortages to local representative

Inspect interior of unit cabinet for any shipped loose items

Are there any loose items inside the unit cabinet?

Environmental Conditions and Storage

Are temperatures maintained evenly to prevent condensation?

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Inspect the coil for signs of corrosion and/or leaks

Describe any leaks found and repairs made

Inspect the coil's surface for foreign material

Clean the coil from the leaving air-side

Close valves on the supply and return lines

Open drain valves and/or drain plug. Remove vent plug to allow coil to drain faster

Connect a blower to the caps. Do not connect the blower to the air vent or drain plug

Close the vent plug on the header that the blower is connected to. Open the drain valve or cap on the other header

Place mirror at discharge. Did the mirror fog up?

Repeat procedure until no fog appears on the mirror

After drying the coil, wait a few minutes then repeat Step #5

Lock-out the gas supply to the unit

Lock-out the electrical power to the unit

Clean exterior surfaces of the motor

Ensure no water or solvents enter the motor or bearings

Check if the motor has grease fittings

Grease the motor according to manufacturer's recommendations
