Check bolts, shim packs, center inserts, keys, and all bolt torques

Is the refrigerant load adequate for load testing?

Enter the load percentage during start-up

Adjust liquid injection oil cooling, if applicable

Adjust water control valve to cooler, if applicable

Calibrate the compressor slide valve

Record the time after 24 hours of operation

Pull and clean suction strainer after 24 hours operation

Ensure the nitrogen charge is safely released before entering the unit

Remove holding charge shipping gauges before pressure testing and refrigerant charging

Is the unit stored in a clean, dry location?

Is proper care given to the solid state components of the microprocessor?

Has the nitrogen charge been checked for units stored over two months?

Contact Johnson Controls-Frick for long term storage procedure if needed

Pull and clean suction strainer after 24 hours operation.

Is the suction strainer excessively dirty?

Repeat cleaning every 24 hours until system is clean if strainer is excessively dirty.

Follow the Maintenance Schedule if strainer is not excessively dirty.

Participate in a regular, periodic oil analysis program to maintain oil and system integrity
