Is there accelerated scaling on the heat exchanger?

Prepare a 3% solution of Phosphoric or Oxalic Acid

Specify other cleaning solutions used

Back flush the oil cooler with the cleaning solution for 30 minutes

Rinse the heat exchanger with fresh water

Change Oil as directed by oil analysis

Ensure oils of different brands, manufacturers, or types are not mixed

Refer to the Changing Oil procedure in the manual for detailed steps

Replace Coalescers at specified hours of operation

Change the oil when changing the coalescer filter element

Remove and clean applicable strainer elements

Ensure only Frick filter elements are used to avoid warranty issues

Check oil analysis at 1000 hours of operation

Schedule oil analysis every 6 months thereafter

Ensure only Frick oil filter elements are used

Participate in a regular, periodic oil analysis program

Record Oil Analysis Kit part number

Take oil samples for analysis after the oil filter

Use the ¼" purge valve provided between the filter and compressor for sampling

Pull and clean suction strainer after 24 hours operation.

Is the suction strainer excessively dirty?

Repeat cleaning every 24 hours until system is clean if strainer is excessively dirty.

Follow the Maintenance Schedule if strainer is not excessively dirty.
