Retighten all connections.
Replace covers.
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the AC power.
No scratches, gouges, or burrs allowed in the SCR/Diode Block contact area.
No oil, dirt, paint, adhesive or other foreign substances are permitted in the contact area.
Diode Test
Disconnect the battery and AC power before testing the diode.
You will be testing the diode to see if it is shorted.
Disconnect the three phase input wires to the SCR/Diode Blocks.
Use an analog meter set to its X1 scale, or use a DVM set to its diode scale.
Connect the meter's negative lead to the input connection of the SCR/Diode Block.
Connect the meter's positive lead to the - bussbar.
If you are using an analog meter, it should read close to 0 ohms.
If you are using a DVM, it should read a .7V drop on the diode scale.
Reverse the wires on the meter.
Control Transformer Test
Warning: Disconnect the battery before testing the control transformer.
You will be testing the wiring of the control transformer for continuity.
Lugs 1 through 5 are located at the front of the control transformer, with lug 1 at the top.
Lugs 6 through 10 are located in the back, with lug 10 at the top.
Measure across the lugs specified in the ID Board.
Does what you measure correspond with what is listed in the table?
If not, replace the control transformer.

Snubber Assembly Test
Warning: Disconnect the battery and AC power before starting the test.
Mounting wire is sound--properly screwed on and not broken
Snubber assembly is not burned, broken, or smoking
To test the snubber assembly, disconnect a mounting wire and check for no continuity.
Enter the meter reading
Meter reads less than 200k ohms
Replace snubber assembly if meter reads less than 200k ohms
