2 Yearly / 2000 Hourly Tractor Maintenance
Warning: Do not remove radiator cap while coolant is hot. When cool, slowly rotate cap to the first stop and allow sufficient time for excess pressure to escape before removing the cap completely.
Engine stopped and key removed?
Coolant drained from radiator?
Drain plug reinstalled after draining coolant?
Radiator filled with clean soft water and cooling system cleaner?
Directions of the cleaner instruction followed?
Radiator filled with clean soft water and anti-freeze until the coolant level is just below the radiator cap?
Radiator cap installed securely?
Coolant filled up to the 'FULL' mark of recovery tank?
100 Hourly Gear Locked Parking Brake Check
Warning: Do not dismount the tractor while checking the parking brake.
Can the tractor be parked on a slope of about 15 degrees?
Did the tractor move?
If the tractor moves, consult your local KUBOTA Dealer.
I have engaged the parking brake before dismounting the tractor.
Sign off on the parking brake check.
1 Daily Brake Pedal Check
Warning: Be sure brake pedals have equal adjustment when using locked together. Incorrect or unequal brake pedal adjustment can cause the tractor to swerve or roll-over.
Inspect the brake pedals for free travel, and smooth operation.
Adjust if incorrect measurement is found.
Sign off on the brake pedal check
100 Hourly Alternator Belt Tension Adjusting
Warning: To avoid personal injury or death, be sure to stop the engine before checking belt tension.
Engine stopped and key removed
Applied moderate thumb pressure to belt between pulleys
Tension checked and within acceptable limits
Alternator mounting bolts loosened if tension was incorrect
Used a lever between the alternator and the engine block to adjust tension if it was incorrect
Alternator belt replaced if it was damaged
Sign off on the alternator belt tension adjustment
100 Hourly Brake Pedal Adjusting
Warning: Stop the engine and chock the wheels before checking brake pedal.
