Pause the printer by pressing the pause button

Release the pen cartridge latch and remove the pen cartridge

Release the pen cartridge latch (1)

Ease the pen cartridge out of the pen cartridge stall (2)

Remove a new pen cartridge from the box

Remove the cap or the tape from the new pen cartridge

Gently ease the pen cartridge with the electronics facing the pen board into the pen cartridge stall (1)

Remove the used filter and discard

Insert a new filter and close the filter cover

Open the filter cover on the opposite side

Remove the used filter and discard from the opposite side

Insert a new filter and close the filter cover on the opposite side

Press pause button to pause the printer

Unlock and open the ink supply door

Remove the defective or empty pen cartridge and replace
